Asia Bizz: After the success of the Indian Premiere League, German auto giant Volkswagen is all set to launch its IPL edition of its hatchback Polo and its sedan Vento. The company had also introduced an IPL edition last year in the Asian country that just can’t get enough of cricket.
The fifth season of the tournament will be beginning next month, during which the selected variants of both Polo and the Vento will be launched. Volkswagen, in a release, said that the new variants will have additional features and will be available to the customers at no additional costs.
Neeraj Garg, the Volkswagen director of passenger cars said that last year they had launched the first action model, the Vento IPL edition, and they will now introducing the Breeze models of both the Polo and the Vento. Garg added that they took the decision to launch the IPL editions looking at the immense response that they received this time with their popular brands.
The additional features of both the cars include a multimedia entertainment system that features navigation and social networking options, an interactive car pad for rear seat passengers to operate the multimedia system, dual-tone leatherette seat covers, IPL door sill designs, special floor mats and IPL branding on the boot.
