Asia Bizz: Popular Indian biscuit manufacturer, Parle Products, will soon be launching five new ‘Namkeen’ products within the next two years. With the launch of the new products, the company will be able to garner 25 percent of the Rs 8,000 crore market.

B Krishna Rao, the Group Product manager of Parle Products, said that the company will be launching products under various categories like the traditional namkeen and wafers to increase their market share in the next two years. After the testing phase, the company received positive responses of their new products from Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh.

In the snacks segment the company has just 8 percent share in the market.

Parle is famous for biscuits like Parle G, Monaco, Hide n Seek among numerous others.
