The Labour day was originated in the labour union movement, specifically from the right hour day movement which advocated eight hours of work, eight hours of recreation and eight hours of rest. The Doodle created by the search engine shows a female worker lifting the metallic logo of Google, representing the power of labour, while the toolbox lying on the background. Google is for years known for creating the most creative and effective Doodles for its home pages to observe various days.
