Popular home appliances giant Whirlpool, has announced the launch of its innovative range of built-in kitchen appliances for its customers during the festival of Onam, which is celebrated in the state of Kerala. Shantanu Das Gupta the vice president of Corporate affairs and strategy in Whirlpool India said, that the focus of the company is innovation.
The company has a target turnover of Rs. 180 crores during Onam festival this year against Rs. 130, crores for the same period. The company’s turnover from the Kerala market was Rs. 500 crore last year. This year the company hopes that the sales would increase by around 12% to 13%.
