Maruti Suzuki in the lead as car sales go up

In the month of July, the car sales continued to increase moderately. But the lockout at Manesar plant might soon affect Maruti Suzuki this month. The domestic sales by Maruti was increased by 7% year by year in the month of July which was backed by the strong demand of Swift and DZire cars.

But the cars will now go out of stock due to the lockout at the plant in Manesar, after a massive riot hit the factory. The other companies like Hyundai, Tata Motors, Mahindra and Mahindra and Toyota have also increased their sales this month. The country’s largest car maker Hyundai reported a 7.6% gain in the month of July.
