The Indian festival of Diwali is just around the corner and eateries across the capital city of New Delhi have started offering mouth watering delights to meet the growing needs of customers. Choices are not just limited to sweets and even foodies can have their cravings fulfilled.

Veda at Lado Sarai is offering a Diwali special Thali this year, which begins with a welcome drink followed by a starter and a healthy salad. The thali has an Indian creamy dal with vegetables and paneer, served with the popular North Indian delicacy dahi bhalla. It is accompanied by a variety of Indian bread, with matka kulfi for desert.

For those who want to have some non-Indian food, Cafe Turtle located in Khan market, Greater Kailash 1 will be the best bet. Nizamuddin East market will be preparing a rocket, feta and olive pizza; grape, pear and boccocini salad; pesto and sun-dried tomato pizza, as well as a  spaghetti aglio olio and chocolate ginger tarts. There is also something special for people with a sweet tooth. The Chocolate Box at Radisson Blu MBD at Noida offers Choclate Box Hampers which are full of gourmet treats.

Apart from just great food, there are also discounts offered by China Kitchen at the Hyatt Regency; where there is a 20 percent discount on food during the festival season.
