Internet shopping giant Amazon.com has launched its Amazon Cloud Drive in Japan. Japanese customers can now easily upload and securely store all of their digital files on Amazon Cloud and access them through the Cloud Drive PC, Mac and Android Apps from any web browser.

Soon customers will also be access their data from the Kindle Fire and Kindle Fire HD. All Amazon customers will get 5 GB worth free storage with additional plans starting at 800 yen a year. Amazon will begin shipping the Kindle Fire and Kindle Fire HD to their customers in Japan on December 19, 2012.

The new Kindle devices will be able to combine with Cloud Drive and thus enable users to enjoy their photos and other data in stunning high resolution from anywhere in the world. Moreover, personal photos can be arranged in an attractive way with Mosaic View.

Kindle Fire customers can view their favorite pictures on their TV with the help of the ‘HDMI out’ interface, which enables them to connect an HDMI cable from their Kindle Fire to any device which has an HDMI port. Kindle Fire owners can also easily import their Facebook pictures to Cloud Drive. Earlier this month Amazon had announced the release of the Cloud Drive photo app for Android. This enables Cloud Drive customers to upload, access and store their photo libraries with the help of their Android Phones and tablets.
