European Union Condemns Iran President Mahmoud Ahmadenijad’s Comment On 9/11 Attacks
Asia Bizz: European Union Condemns Iran President Mahmoud Ahmadenijad’s Comment On 9/11 Attacks
The European Union has condemned the comments made by Iran’s President Mahmoud Ahmadenijad, over the 9/11 attacks in America. Mr. Ahmadenijad stated that the US government was involved in the 9/11 attacks which is totally “outrageous and unacceptable”, says the European Union.
It was a very strong statement made by Mr. Ahmadenijad over the 9/11 attacks and this was the reason that all the representatives of the 27 nations in the EU walked out. But as per the Iranian President, he stated that there was a theory within the United States, as it is believed that the U.S. government was thoroughly involved in the 9/11 attacks.
In the year 2001, the Al Qaeda had attacked the U.S. by flying planes into the World Trade Center, in which more than 3000 people lost their lives. These comments by the Iranian President has hurt the sentiment of many people who are connected to the 9/11 attacks. President Obama too has condemned his these comments by the President of Iran, stating that he “found the comments to be outrageous and offensive, particularly given how close we are to Ground Zero.”
