Asia Bizz: The wait for the Android 2.3 smartphone Google Nexus S is about to end, as the Google phone will be available in the US market for sale from December 16 onwards. In USA, it will be available through BestBuy and T-Mobile, while in the UK it will be available through Vodafone, Carphone Warehouse and T-Mobile.
The price of the Google Nexus S as featured on a press release by BestBuy stated that the unlocked version of Nexus S will be available at $529, while a two year T-Mobile voice and data plan will come at a price of $199.
The Google Nexus S features a 1GHz processor, 512MB RAM, 5MP camera, the latest Google mobile applications, 4’’ contour display, portable Wi Fi hotspot, in addition to Near Field Communication, rear and front facing cameras, entertainment on the go and email facility.
The Nexus S is also said to have the first phone to run the new Android 2.3 ‘Gingerbread’.
