Asia Bizz: The Google Nexus S by Samsung has officially been launched in India and comes at a price tag of India rupees 30,400. The version available in the Indian market will feature the i9023 with normal LCD, unlike the i9020 that comes with super AMOLED screens.

Google’s Nexus S has much to offer for Indian customers and has been one of the most-talked about smartphones in the market. The Samsung Nexus S comes with Google’s Android 2.3 Gingerbread and a 5 mega-pixel camera plus a VGA camera. The 4inch screen of the smartphone also makes it a perfect phone to use at all times; it is lightweight and with Google being a part of this, consumers in India will get to face a high-speed phone by the internet giant.

The Nexus S also features 16GB of memory which is expandable up to 32GB with a microSD card. It also comes with Wi-Fi connectivity and Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, and is actually light on your pocket – it weighs a mere 129 grams.

Keeping in touch with the times, this device also comes with some fabulous Google apps including Google’s Gmail, Voice Search, YouTube, Google Maps and a host of other apps.

Although it is priced at INR 30,400, it is also availble on at a pre-order rate of INR 27,999.
