Asia Bizz: Electronics manufacturing giant Sony, has recently unveiled a futuristic headset for the head mounted display segment. The headset is packed with a pair of 1280 X 720 OLED panels which are capable of 3D graphics.

The new Sony HMZ – T1 is capable of working with the Blu-ray media as well as PCs, the game consoles like the PS33D capable camcorders, cameras and a lot more. It has an HDMI input and offers 750 inch screen view from 20m away.

The company has said that the headset has a clever 45 degree optical lens technology which means that it has zero 3D crosstalk. It also has a 5.1 channel virtual surround sound.

Sony has also said that the broad viewing area is actually wider than the people’s actual field of vision. This unique technology will give the users a new experience, along with the 3D technology. Along with the HMDI input, there is also HDMI pass through output, which will allow the user to hook a second headset or even a regular display. But this is not meant for a portable use and can be used in a room. The price of the unique headset is likely to be around $784 and will be launched in Japan in the month of November.
