Asia Bizz: A new web app has been launched by the Financial Times for the Indian market. The new web app by the FT is now directly available online that has been specially designed for Apple iPad and the iPhone.

The new app by FT India provides special content for the users including top stories from Indian as well as the other important stories from other popular content. Moreover the new iPad application would also feature highlights from the prestigious A list column.

The new applications would also feature inputs from the Alphaville blog, commercial coverage of the luxury goods industry and recently launched Luxury 360. The managing director of the, Rob Grimshaw, said that with the rapid economic growth and the ever increasing number of talented and influential business leaders , India has for long been a strategically important market for the Financial Times.

Rob added that with the launch of the new app, it would help FT to accelerate its growth in the region and would also help to out its news and analysis straight in to the hands of the business people who need it.
