Samsung Galaxy Tab 620 launched in Indian market

Asia Bizz: South Korean electronics giant Samsung has recently announced its Galaxy Tab 620 in the Indian market. The company has introduced a 7-inch Android tablet which is powered by Android Honeycomb 3.2 OS.

The tablet offers the functionality of a tablet as well as a smartphone. The tablet has been priced at Rs.26,499 and features a dual core 1.2 GHz Processor with a 1GB of DDR 2 RAM, which will help the device to perform better.

The new 620 tab features the new PLS technology, also known as Plane to Line switching, which is a display based technology. The new technology helps the device to show better colors, contrast, in addition to a wider screen viewing angles compared to the existing IPS technology-based displays.

Ranjit Yadav, the spokesperson of Samsung, said that the tablet will enable customers to manage their work and life while on the move. Moreover, the value-added features of the tab will offer faster browsing, transmission as well as downloading. The other features of the tab include a 3 megapixel rear camera and a 2 megapixel front-camera for video calling. As far as the connectivity features are concerned, it offers 3G as well as HSPA connectivity to get downloading speed of 21 megabits per second.
