Top Three newspapers of Jharkhand state have been issued notices and are summoned to be present in front of Investigative bureau of Income Tax Department. These three newspapers are Dainik Jagran, Hindustan and Prabhat Khabar.

It is speculated that these newspapers have given receipts and invoice mentioning low amount than the actual charged amount in lieu off publishing advertorials in favor of Madhu Kodha.

Income Tax’s Investigative Bureau earlier summoned all these newspapers on 5th February along with the Xerox copies and receipts of ads and advertorials; but representatives from any of these newspapers didn’t reach the Income Tax office. However, Dainik Jagran and Prabhat Khabar have asked 15 days time to respond.
