Auto manufacturer, Mahindra has launched the updated version of its Rodeo, the Rodeo RZ across the south Indian market. The company has also announced the ex showroom prices, Rs. 49,575 for the state of Andhra Pradesh, Rs. 50,710 for the state of Tamil Nadu, Rs. 49,410 for the state of Kerala and Rs. 48,930 for the state of Karnataka.
Mahindra said that it aims to sell 5,000 units if Rodeo RZ and added that the vehicle is aimed at the young generation and the urban couples. Viren Popli, the Senior vice president of strategy and market development of Mahindra Two Wheelers, while talking at the launch said, “The Mahindra Rodeo RZ is a zippy, trendy, youthful scooter with a host of unique modern features, which lets both him and her do more, much more.”
The new RZ has the same old 125 cc series engine but the new Mahindra’s Dual Curve Digital Ignition system helps the scooter put out a little more than 8PS and 9 Nm. The company has claimed the fuel efficiency of 59.39 kmpl. The new Rodeo also features new graphics and is available in seven attractive colours including, electric green, mystic violet and flame orange .
The low ground clearance issue has been fixed on the earlier model and has 24 mm additional space underneath.
