Auto giant Honda has recently launched its much awaited Amaze sedan for the Indian market and intends to launch five more models in the country in the next three years. Jnaneswar Sen, the senior vice president of the company, during the car launch said the company will be able to launch just 4,000 to 5,000 units of Amaze per month, a number which is presently limited due to their current production capacity.

Sen said, “Our current plan is to make 4,000-5,000 cars (Amaze) a month. Our capacity is 1.2 lakh units which include all our models. What’s available for this model is 4,000-5,000 units a month”.

The entry level sedan Amaze was launched in the price range of Rs. 4.99 lakh to Rs. 7.60 lakh ex-showroom New Delhi on April 11, 2013. The model has become the first diesel offering from the company in India.

The diesel option in India has been priced between Rs. 5.99 lakh and Rs. 7.60 lakh and the prices are as per the official website of the company. People in India looking for a good alternative to cars in the same price range will be pleased that a company like Honda is offering them a variety of options when it comes to the Amaze.
