Tech giant Lenovo has launched its IdeaPad A1000 for the Indian market. With this recent launch, the company has added another device to the ever-growing budget-friendly tablet market. The IdeaPad A1000 has been priced at Rs. 8,999 for the Indian market.
The latest device from Lenovo was announced earlier in 2013 and it is now up for sale at the official website of the company. The device is also available at the shopping portal Flipkart.com. In terms of technical specifications, the 7-inch capacitive multi-touch LCD display has a screen resolution of 1024×600 pixels and is powered by 1.2 GHz dual-core MediaTek MTK8317 processor and runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS.
The device has a 1 GB of DDR2 RAM and is loaded with integrated graphics, along with a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera and the only drawback is that it does not have any rear camera. Good connectivity can be expected from the SIM card slot with 2G data support and voice call facilities.
Additional connectivity options include 2G, EDGE, GPS, Wi-Fi, 3G through dongle, Bluetooth and USB. The IdeaPad A1000 weighs 340 gm and is 10.7 mm thick with a 3500 mAh battery which delivers up to 420 minutes of talk time.
