The general manager of the company Tang Mu confirmed that they are working on a virtual reality headset that will be compatible with Google’s DayDream platform. The DayDream platform was announced by Google ‘s I/O event held in June, 2016. MU said that this would reportedly be the best way to give its optimized MIUI users the VR experience.
Xiaomi has posted a teaser which hinted that the headset is likely to be launched on August 1, 2016.
