Asia Bizz: Samsung is in the news once again and this time it launched the Wave II S8530 smartphone in India, which is priced at Rs. 19,000. The S8530 was much awaited by the Samsung customers, as it is the direct upgrade to the Samsung S8500. The cellphone giant, has not done too much changes and upgrades with the new phone, but has tried to keep the Samsung quality visible in the device.
The Wave II S8530 has a 3.7 inch screen, which is larger than its predecessor S8500’s 3.3 inch screen. A complete touch LCD, and comes with the AMOLED technology feature. The Wave II runs on a 1GHz Hummingbird processor, the BADA operating system, and also features a 5 mega pixel camera.
The 5 mega pixel in the rear features an LED flash and also 720p HD video recording. The new operating system BADA 1.2 too is a the latest operating system in its category with new and exciting features. The smartphone can support 32GB of external memory and comes with a 2GB internal memory.
