Asia Bizz: In some good news for people in Gurgaon and Delhi, India, soon a new ‘Appu Ghar’ will be there to entertain the crowd. After the shut down of the Amusement park which was near Pragati Maidan in Delhi, the new version of the amusement park will be developed.
The company that had earlier owned the amusement park shut in 2008, has now invested 58 acres for the new amusement park that will be spread in 58 acres of land at new Gurgaon. The amusement park is expected to be complete by the year 2013.
The new Appu Ghar will reportedly have a water park and a giant wheel which will be similar to that of the London Eye. In order to execute the ideas, talks are being made by the company with some Japanese and German companies.
One of the executive’s of the company had said that some of the foreign companies have sent their technical specifications of their swings and the final decision will be taken by the second week October. There are also reports that the amusement park will have wax museum similar to that of Madame Tussauds. The foundation stone for the project will be laid on Sunday by the chairman of International Amusement Limited, Gian Vijeshwar.
