Asia Bizz: After the launch of the cheapest tablet ‘Aakash’ in the Indian market, Fly Mobile has launched its tablet for the Indian market as the second cheapest one. The new Tab is called the Fly Vision and is a budget Android-based tablet that was launched on October 18, 2011.
The new Fly Vision weighs 50 gms and has a 7-inch TFT LCD touchscreen with a pixel resolution of 800 X 480. The tablet computer is powered by a 600 MHz Rockchip and runs on the Android 2.2 Froyo Operating System.
The Vision also comes packed with a 256 MB RAM, along with a 1.3 megapixel camera. With regards to the battery, the company said that it has six hours of battery life and also has a external memory slot that has the capacity to hold up to 16 GB micro SD cards.
The connectivity features of the tablet include USB 2.0, Bluetooth, 3G, Wi-Fi along with a standard 3.5 mm audio jack. Moreover, the Vision will also come powered with applications like Microsoft Office Suite as well as some of the Google applications like Gmail, Google Talk, Google Maps and YouTube.
The new Fly Vision has been priced at Rs. 7,299 in the Indian market and also has a SIM card slot to make voice calls.
