Asia Bizz: American software giant Microsoft has recently opened its new global delivery centre in India’s IT hub Bangalore. The global delivery centre has been opened to provide consulting and enterprise services to the clients worldwide. The centre at Bangalore is the second in the country. Earlier, a similar facility was opened by the software company in the year 2005 in Hyderabad.
The centre at Bangalore will support the services of Microsoft in powering mission critical and business critical appliances for the leading corporations across 65 countries in the world. Kristin Johnsen, the general manager of Microsoft Consulting Services, said that their services can bring in expertise on key technologies to help the customers to plan, run and deploy their IT landscapes.
The general manager Amit Sircar, from Microsoft Services global delivery, said that they have mature delivery process for global deployments. Amit added that the local teams here work on the leading edge products and technologies including the Office 365 and Windows 7 deployment. The Microsoft Services Global Delivery is known for its highly mature delivery process for the global deployments. Sircar also added that they hope to maintain and improve this reputation for excellence with a group of highly motivated people in Bangalore.
