Asia Bizz: Indian online retailer Flipkart.com will soon start shipping the new Samsung’s Galaxy Ace Plus. The online retailer will start shipping the device at Rs 16,750 from March 21, 2012 onwards.

The new Galaxy Ace Plus has some few additional features compared to its predecessors. The Ace Plus has a bigger 3.6 inch screen, but comes with a 320 X 480 pixels resolution which is same as that of the Galaxy Ace.

The new smartphone is powered by a 1GHz single core processor compared to the 800 MHz in the earlier version. The Galaxy Ace Plus comes with a Android Gingerbread and sine the new smartphone has a bigger processor there are chances that Samsung might soon announce an upgrade to the Android Ice Cream Sandwich in near future.

The new device has a better curvier body with a piano black finish, which makes the device give a more sophisticated look. The Galaxy Ace Plus has an internal memory of 3GB, along with an expandable memory slot of up to 32 GB. Despite several improvements, the price of the new device remains reasonable and is expected to compete in the market with the other devices like, Motorola Defy+, Sony Xperia Neo V and Ray and LG Optimus Sol.
