Asia Bizz: MI-5 Ex-Chief Says Iraq Posed A Very Limited Threat To The U.K.
Eliza Manningham-Buller, the former chief of the MI-5, gave a very strong eye opening statement to the world regarding the war on Iraq in 2003. According to Buller, the Saddam administration in Iraq had posed very low and eminent threat to U.K., and the war which was led by the U.S., proved to be more harmful than being resourceful to someone.

As she provided evidence to Chilcot inquiry, she stated that the threat level from the Middle East was very low and containable. She had totally agreed on the fact, that the Saddam regime had nothing to do in providing weapons of mass destruction to the terrorists in the region, rather she alleged that the war as an ‘attack on the Muslims’ rather or terrorism.
She went on to say that it was after Saddam was ripped out of his power, when the Al-Qaeda moved into Iraq. After the attack on Iraq, when the U.S gave less attention in Afghanistan, there was no possible high level threat that was actually emitting from Iraq, and Iraq had no part to play in the 9/11 attacks in America.
