Asia Bizz: Sony To Unveil The PlayStation Phone Soon
Sony, Japan’s technology leader, will be unveiling the PlayStation Phone sometime next year. This latest phone will be a great innovation by Sony, as this gadget will be having features of a smartphone and also of a portable gaming console. It is likely to be noted that this phone wont be coming under the name of PlayStation, but rather it would be launched as the Sony Ericsson.
The phone will be running on Android’s latest upcoming platform, the Gingerbread or Android 3.0. In addition to this it will also feature the Sony Marketplace, which would allow the phone users to download games from the web, which are portable for this device.
Other features will include the 1GHz Qualcomm MSM8655, 512MB of RAM, 1GB of ROM, and a touch screen which could be a 3.7 or 4.1 inch. There are lot of expectations from this phone as it is said that this would be a strong contender to the other smartphones in its category, and also pose threat to some gaming consoles, as this is also a smartphone. The price and the time of launch have not been officially disclosed by the company, but we would be waiting for it.
