Asia Bizz: Notion Ink has provided a hint that the rumoured Google Android Gingerbread 2.3 mobile and tablet operating system could be launched on the 6th December. Notion Ink is an Indian technology gadget manufacturing company and the company CEO has clearly stated that the Gingerbread 2.3 will be compatible for its latest Adam Tablet. Google on the other hand has not made any comment in regards to the launch.

There can be a possibility that Andy Ruben of Google could come on stage at the D:Dive Into Mobile event and then can announce the launch of the Google Android 2.3, but there is no surety about that too. There have been innumerable rumours in context to the Android 2.3 and its launch, it is the web, which has been speaking about it so much, and not the company.

The Gingerbread 2.3 will be locking horns against Windows Phone 7 and iOS 4.2, which too have been released recently. On the other hand the Samsung Nexus phone too will be running on the Android system, which also speculates the possibility of it being the Gingerbread 2.3.
