Asia Bizz: American smartphone giant Apple will soon be launching its refurbished iPhone 4 handsets in the Indian market. The company is planning to launch the smartphone in the upcoming week and would also provide a years warranty with the phones.
The refurbished phone would be priced at Rs. 22,400 in the Indian market. This comes as good news for all the fans of Apple since the iPhone 4S is soon going to be launched.
There are possibilities that the deal would attract all prospective buyers of the iPhone 4. Moreover, the users will also have the option to have the company’s AppleCare Protection Plan for the refurbished iPhones.
Meanwhile, the company has worked on all the minor flaws in the in the iPhone 4 that were recalled in the factory. The defects might have come out due to the manufacturing defect or the cosmetic defect. The flaws have been rectified and the new refurbished iPhones will soon be available in the retail market. One thing that the company clarified that the iPhones are not second hand. They just could not be sold due to the flaws in their systems. The refurbished units are of 16 GB and after the iPhone 4S is out then the 8GB variants would also be made available in the market.
