Asia Bizz: Mobile manufacturing giant Samsung has launched three dual SIM smartphones for the Indian market on February 14, 2012. Samsung has launched its Galaxy Ace Duos (SCH-i589), Galaxy Y Duos (GT-S6102) and Galaxy Y Pro Duos (GT B5512).
Samsung also strengthened its dual SIM portfolio with the launch of Samsung Champ Deluxe Duos (C3312) and the Star 3 Duos (GT-S5222). The Galaxy Ace Duos (SCH-i589) comes with Dual SIM Dual Active technology, through which the user can be available on GSM as well as CDMA nos.
The phone is packed with a 832 MHz processor and runs on the Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS. The Galaxy Ace Duos comes with 8.89 cm display, EvDO Rev A capability , HVGA display and 1650 mAH battery.
The new Galaxy Y Pro Duos is the first Android based Dual SIM QWERTY bar device. The device has the connectivity features with Wi-Fi direct and BT 3.0 support, due to which it will offer improved connectivity along with enhanced productivity with Touch + QWERTY Key Pad along with optical track pad. These days the importance of staying connected on the move has increased due to which the smartphone supports Social Hub Premium which allows the users to stay connected with the companions.
