Asia Bizz: Indian internet company Times Internet Limited has launched the Asian country’s first tablet magazine, Tweek, on February 15, 2012 The tablet magazine has been developed in partnership with GENWI, the inventor of cloud-based mobile publishing.

The application can be accessed through the iPad and will soon be launched for the iPhone and Android devices. Rishi Khiani, the chief executive of TIL, said that Tweek offer the readers an unparalleled experience in terms of interactivity, usability and customization.

Khiani added that the with the launch of the application they intend to pioneer the tablet magazine space in India. The founder and CEO of GENWI PJ Gurumohan said that with the power of the cloud, Tweek will save time as well as production costs by reusing the design layouts.

Gurumohan shared that he most groundbreaking aspect of the application is the way it surfaces existing content and also takes full advantage of the tablet experience to create higher levels of reader engagement.
