Asia Bizz: Optical storage media manufacturer Moser Baer has recently launched a credit card sized USB Flash Drive known as the ‘Moser Baer Zap’. The USB flash drive is so thin than it can easily fit in wallets, pocket books and card holders.
The Moser Baer Zap comes with just one variant with a 4 GB storage capacity. The USB drive weights just 10.25 gms and measures 84.15 X 52.83 sq mm.
Due to its USB 2.0 interface, the drive is compatible with Win 2000/XP/ME/Vista/7, Mac OS 9.0 or higher versions and also Linux Kernel 2.4.0 and higher versions. Apart from the compact size, the price of the drive is also small with a tag of just Rs 1,100.
The Moser Baer Zap comes with a warranty of 2 years and is currently available at the online store of Moser Baer at a special introductory price of just Rs. 399. The product will soon be available at the outlets across the country soon. The new device has all the potential to be popular at its introductory price but the company now needs to add more variants in terms of storage capacity so as to further increase the popularity so that it remains popular for a longer time.
