Asia Bizz: Indian software major Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) indicated that it will be looking at hiring nearly 30,000 people in fiscal 2011, starting this April, with nearly 2,000 of them being recruited in its development centers abroad and is likely to ink major deals.
The major opportunities likely to emerge from the US, the company is looking for some major deals resurfacing from the Quarter starting April.
The company was realizing nearly 19 per cent of its earnings from the emerging markets with Australia having good potential. The company had ramped up its staff numbers in its new delivery centre in Düsseldorf looking at emerging opportunities in Germany and France. It had around 150 developers at the German centre. The China operation of the company was looking at great opportunity there and currently had 1,500 staff.
