Asia Bizz: Indian manufacturer and distributor of telecom and IT products, Beetel Teletech, of the Bharti Enterprises group company, launched its full touch screen mobile phone GD-777 on March 7, 2012. The new mobile phone has been launched as a festive offering for the Indian market.
The new Beetel smartphone comes with a 5 megapixel camera with a unique touch experience along with superior screen resolution. The new GD-777 will be available in the Indian market at Rs 5,499.
During the launch of the product, Vinod Sawhny, the executive director and CEO of Beetel Teletech Limited said that GD 777 is a product that provides high-end features at the mass audience aspire to have in their mobile phones.
Sawhny added that the innovative product has been designed after extensive market research which indicated that there is a huge demand for affordable features phones since most customers are looking out for more options in the category. The other features of the new GD 777 include – up to 16 GB storage capacity, FM radio, Java, GPRS, WAP, EDGE for internet surfing, enhanced downloading capabilities and video streaming, messenger service, 3D games and the camera can be used as a web cam.
