Asia Bizz: Taiwanese manufacturing company HTC – which recently unveiled its upcoming smartphone range at the Mobile World Congress – has announced its availability in the Indian market. Reports say that the new smartphones will be available in the Indian market in the first week of April 2012.
The country head of HTC India, Manu Seth said that the company will be launching its Android Ice Cream Sandwich-based smartphones One X, One V and One S in the Singapore market on March 30, 2012 and will be touching the Indian shores in the first week of April 2012. The country head also said that HTC is in talks with Airtel to offer the One series of smartphones with the data offer details for which are being worked out.
This comes like good news for those who intend to buy smartphones in the upcoming weeks. Some of the interesting features of the new One X include an 8 megapixel camera with LED flash and BSO censor. The One X runs on the Android 4.0 with HTC Sense 4 and is powered by a 1.5 GHz quad core processor. The new HTC smartphone has a 4.7-inch display with a resolution of 1280 X 720. The One X also has a front 1.3 megapixel camera for video chat and a 32 GB internal memory.
