Asia Bizz: Indian telecommunications company Reliance Communications has launched its new Android-based CDMA tablet in the Indian market. The price of the tablet has been attractively priced at Rs 12,999 and will be available in multi-brand and RWorld from March 13, 2012.
One of the spokesperson from RCom said that the new CDMA tablet will be available in most of the multi-brand and the RWorld Stores along with a special introductory tariff plan introduced with the tablet. The special plan will only be for the post-paid subscribers.
The features of the new Reliance CDMA tab includes a 7-inch capacitive touch screen and is powered by Android 2.3 operating system. The tablet comes with a 512 MB RAM and a micro SD external storage.
The new tablet by Reliance also comes with a 2.0 megapixel rear camera along with a front camera for video calling. The CDMA Tab is supported by Reliance’s CDMA network across 22 circles in more than 1000 towns in the country. The new device also comes with attractive monthly and annual data plans for postpaid RCom subscribers. This is the first time RCom has introduced tariff plans for the tablet users.
