Asia Bizz: American auto maker Ford has slashed the prices of the of the 2011 Fiesta by up to Rs 1 lakh at a crucial time. Now the 2011 Fiesta begins at the price of Rs .23 lakhs ex-showroom Delhi.
For this reason, the company has rationalized the number of variants i.e two trims in each petrol as well as diesel with five speed manual transmission. The Fiesta Petrol will now be available only in the newly launched Ambiente trim along with Titanium plus automatic variants.
Ford has discarded the other previous variants. On the other hand, Style and Titanium +trims will be available in the Fiesta diesel. The prices of the Fiesta have been realigned as per customer feedback and the sedan is now expected to be more competitive in the C segment.
At the same time, it has been assured that the price cut has not come after cutting the safety and features as even the lowest variants offers ABS, driver seat height adjustment, driver air bag, guide me home head lamps and many other features common in the segment.
Here are the revised rates of the 2012 Ford Fiesta.
Fiesta petrol Ambiente: Rs 7.23 lakh
Fiesta petrol Titanium+: Rs 8.80 lakh
Fiesta petrol Style (AT): Rs 8.99 lakh
Fiesta petrol Titanium+ (AT): RS 9.70 lakh
Fiesta diesel Style: Rs 8.99 lakh
Fiesta diesel Titanium+: Rs 9.90 lakh
