Asia Bizz: In some great news for people having a craze for photography, Japanese camera maker Nikon has recently launched its high-end DSLR cameras in the Indian market. The company announced on March 14, 2012 that the top-end models are now available in India.

Nikon announced its D4 specially meant for professional photography and the D800 which is an FX format camera for professonals. The new D4 has been brought in place of D3S and has been priced at Rs 3,24, 950 while the D800 has been priced at Rs 1,49,950.

Moreover, the company also announced the D800E that offers slightly better image processing than the D800 specially for studio work. The new D800E has been priced at Rs 1,64,950.

Some of the features of the D4 include a 16 megapixel camera, FX format CMOS sensor and Nikon’s Expeed 3 image processing engine. The new camera also has a 51 point AF system and can shoot up to 10 frames per second. Nikon has assured that with the new D4, photographers will be able to shoot even in the most challenging environments as well as lighting conditions with the help of the new 91,000 pixel 3D color matrix meter.
