Asia Bizz: Japanese motor company Honda Motors announced that it will be launching the new Honda Moto LINC on March 14, 2012. The new LINC is a membership-based service for Honda motorcycle owners in Japan.

The company said that it will be launching the service on April 12, 2012 in Japan. This will be a free service available for  smartphone users; it has been developed for the Honda motorcycle owners Honda Moto LINC and is based on the Internavi LINC navigation system.

The system is currently available to Honda automobile owners in Japan. All the Honda Motorcycle owners in Japan with a smartphone can download the application and get registered as a member on the exclusive website and start using the service.

High precision traffic information is used in the Internavi car navigation system of Honda. The Honda Moto LINC offers the service to calculate riding routes and the Driving information service so as to search for the ideal touring locations. The features also include the Rain Gear Alarm service to alert the rider when rainfall is forecast.
