Asia Bizz: After a long, long wait, India’s master blaster Sachin Tendulkar has created history by scoring 100 international centuries for the Indian cricket team. Tendulkar has become the first player to score a ton in a one day game against Bangladesh in Dhaka on March 16, 2012.

The memorable moment came at his 49th one day cricket match, with a single clipped to square leg. However, the 38-year-old was dismissed at 114 and said that he was not thinking of the milestone, but the feeling has not yet sunk in.

Tendulkar scored his 99th century against the South African team in March 2011 and since then has been waiting to complete his 100th century. Before reaching the remarkable milestone, the player was twice dismissed in his 90’s.

The right handed batsman has held many records and has also scored 51 Test tons. After completing his 100th century, the batsman was seen removing his helmet and looking up, probably thanking God. The master blaster was also immediately congratulated by the Bangladesh players on the field. After Sachin scored a 99 on the field, the crowd roared to cheer the player to complete his hundredth century. And when the moment arrived, the players at the pavilion and the dressing room stood up and rejoiced over Sachin’s success.
