Asia Bizz: India’s Budget 2012 – 13 has brought some relief for auto makers when it comes to the prices of vehicles. The biggest relief has been brought as no extra taxes have been levied on diesel vehicles in the Asian nation.

The news has stimulated automobile firms to outstretch the production of their diesel powered engines. Initially, the companies were hesitant on investing in the production of diesel vehicles in the country, but that was before the budget was out.

Now that there has been no mention of additional tax on diesel vehicles, it can be assumed that vehicles will not be treated differently. The companies can now freely proceed towards their investments.
