Asia Bizz: On March 22, 2012, A South Korean media report stated that Apple Inc’s new iPhone will have a sharper and bigger 4.6 inch retina, which is now all set be launched around the second quarter. The sales of the iPhone now account for around half of Apple’s total sale.

The company has reportedly decided to go for the bigger display for its next iPhone 5 and has apparently started placing orders to its suppliers. Some of the major display suppliers for the company include Samsung Electronics and LG Display.

The high-definition retina display contains several times as many pixels within the same area. It is also used in the latest iPad launched earlier this month.
