Asia Bizz: Mobile phone manufacturer Nokia has recently announced on their Facebook page that the PR 1.2 update is now available for Lumia 800 and 710 smartphones. All the users with the Lumia smartphones can now update to the latest version through Zune PC app.
The customers can also update their smartphones by visiting their nearest Nokia Care Centre. With the help of the new PR 1.2 update, it gives enhanced battery life, provides fixes for self reboots, freezes and call endings and improved audio performance.
With the new update, it also fixes the question mark bug in place of battery capacity in the device. All Lumia smartphone users have to install Zune so as to update the phone and can be easily downloaded from www.zune.net. But before one begins the update, users need to ensure that it has ample battery power; use a compatible data cable to connect the phone to the computer and open Zune.
Zune will help in checking the available updates and show the latest PR 1.2 update. The user has to then follow the instructions on the screen and the Lumia will soon be running on the latest software update.
