Asia Bizz: Indian auto maker Hindustan Motors has launched the upgraded version of the Mitsubishi Outlander car in the Indian market. The upgrade is the second major update for the Outlander since the time it was launched in the Asian country.

The new Outlander is powered by a 2.4 litre engine that churns out the power of 170 PS, as well as 226 Nm of torque. The Outlander is suitable for both on-road as well as off road driving experiences.

Some of the major features of the new Outlander includes key-less operating system, a Rockford Fosgate premium 710 watt system. The new Outlander can accommodate seven people, which has probably made the vehicle stand out.

The exterior of the car is impressive as well as it has a new front grill which is inspired by the jet fighter. The Outlander also comes with the ABS and EBD, along with a technology known as the RISE (Reinforced Impact Safety Evolution). In terms of safety features, the vehicle has a safety kit along with dual frontal airbags.

The new Outlander by Mitsubishi is priced at Rs 20.55 ex showroom price Delhi and with the date of the launch, it looks like the company was waiting for the Union Budget to be officially announced.
