Asia Bizz: Taiwanese manufacturer HTC has announced the launch of the One series Android smartphones for the Indian market on March 30, 2012. HTC revealed that it will be launching its One X and One V which will go on sale on April 2, 2012.
The One X is the first quad core phone, while the One V is a mid range device. The company said that the One X will be priced at Rs 35,000, while the One V will be priced at Rs 17,000. HTC is yet to reveal information about the launch of the third One S of the series. The new smartphones from the company were showcase at the Mobile World Congress last month.
In terms of the features, the HTC One X has a 4.7 inch display, 1.5 GHz quad core NVIDIA Tegra processor, 8.0 megapixel camera along with a 1.3 megapixel front camera for video calling and HD video recording capability.
The HTC One V has a 5 megapixel camera, 3.7 inch display, 1GHz single core processor and video recording capabilities. Both One X as well as One V will come with a dedicated image processing chip which brings great imaging capabilities like the HDR, burst mode and better low light shooting.
