Asia Bizz: In some good news for the UK travellers from India, Matrix Cellular has slashed international roaming rates up to 50 percent. The telecom operator is known for providing international telecommunications services to Indian residents living abroad.
The users of Matrix who will be traveling to the UK this summer can now call back home in India for just Rs. 1 per minute. Moreover, the Matrix user can now receive incoming calls absolutely free.
Matrix also said that the users can use email services and access other social media sites on their smartphones for just one tenth of the international data roaming charges. With the help of the new Global BlackBerry SIM, Matrix users can now enjoy unlimited access to emails, browsing, Facebook, Twitter, BBM in more than 150 countries for about Rs 4,000.
Arun Batra, the chief executive officer of Matrix, told the press that Matrix Cellular is committed to offering its customers the best value products as well as services whenever they are traveling abroad. Batra added that with the onset of the holiday season, the tariff reductions spell huge benefits for avid holiday makers and business visitors as customers will be benefited in a huge way and will be able to save a great deal of money as compared to any other product.
