Asia Bizz: South Korean electronics giant Samsung has announced the launch of its next generation Galaxy Ace Plus (GT – S7500) smartphone for the Indian market on April 4, 2012. The new smartphone is the upgraded version of its popular Samsung Galaxy Ace.

Ranjit Yadav, the country head of Samsung said that the Galaxy Ace Plus phone is based on the Android Gingerbread platform and the services of Samsung which provide an enhanced mobile experience to users. Yadav stated that the company will continue to expand their popular Galaxy smartphone range.

The Galaxy range is one of the most successful mobile brands in the country and across the globe. The new Galaxy Ace Plus features 3.65- inch HVGA capacitive touchscreen, with rounded edges. The new smartphone is powered by 1 GHz processor and also Samsung’s TouchWiz user interface.

Some of the other features of the Samsung Galaxy Ace Plus include a 2 GB internal storage which is expandable up to 32 GB, Wi Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, 5 megapixel camera with single LED flash. In terms of the call features, the smartphone allows users to reject calls with text messages and add unwanted callers to blacklist log.

Samsung added that the new Ace Plus enables the users to stay connected through the Samsung’s Social Hub.
