Asia Bizz: After the success of the Mobile Money Value Added Service (VAS) by Loop along with Zipcash, the telecom company has launched its new M Wallet Service. With the help of the new service, users can make social payments to friends and family by just sending a simple Short Message Service (SMS).

The earlier VAS allowed users to transform their mobile in to a mobile wallet, which is also launched by Airtel and Nokia. With the help of the service, users could pay for electricity bills, prepaid recharges, digital TV recharge, online shopping and movie tickets.

The new M Wallet service can reportedly be used to send money to any mobile number and even any operator across the Indian nation, unlike other operators. Money can be transferred to any operator and it also allows payment of bills to any operator.

The service can be availed for free by sending a text message ‘Money’ to 51888 in order to load the wallet with cash. The service has been launched along with Zipcash and its prime focuses is in the area of micro-payments, which allows users to transact online and offline without a credit card or a debit card. The best part is that these transactions are reported to be safe, secure and convenient.
