Asia Bizz: BlackBerry smartphone maker Research In Motion (RIM) has announced that the popular BlackBerry BBM service will soon be integrated with social networking sites Facebook and Twitter. The integration will allow users of the encrypted IM system to quickly share Tweets or even Facebook status updates directly from the new application.
The new application come from the BBM enhancement of RIM connected to apps, which are set to be launched in the upcoming weeks. The new version of the apps like BlackBerry AppWorld, BlackBerry Travel and BBM Music will be launched.
For BlackBerry smartphones v3.0 in Facebook and Twitter for BlackBerry smartphones v 3.0 there will be a new ‘share with BBM’ button . In the BlackBerry Travel v2.5, users can share upcoming flights and other travel arrangements through IM.
Even BBM has pulled in recommended contacts directly in to the app, due to which the possible range of tracks has broadened. Music from others can be listened to and can also comment on. And now, the BlackBerry App World will allow users to share their latest download through the BBM. It will also support the new NFC technology for phones with BlackBerry Tag Technology so that the sharing of the app between the devices can be more straightforward.
