Asia Bizz: Indian three-wheeler manufacturer Force Motors announced on April 11, 2012 that it has tied up with Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL). The tie-up has been made for the usage of the supply of oil in the entire range of products.
The company released a statement, “This contract was signed after extensive trials of genuine oil in various operating conditions of aggregates by both Force Motors and HPCL.” The agreement between the companies has taken effect from April 1, 2012.
According to the agreement, HPCL will be supplying oil, which will be used in the range of Force Motors aggregates like the engine, axles and gearbox. The statement mentioned that oil has been specifically made according to the requirements of the Force Motors across light commercial, agricultural, personal and multi-utility segments.
Force Motors is known for manufacturing three wheelers and multi-utility vehicles. The company also manufactures light commercial vehicles, tractors, buses, and heavy commercial vehicles. Force Motors mainly operates in commercial vehicle segment.
