Asia Bizz: Chinese telecommunications company Huawei has announced the launch of its new smartphones Huawei Honor and new Huawei Ideos X5 for the Indian market on April 12, 2012. The new smartphones are powered by the latest Gingerbread and the Ice Cream Sandwich Android 4.0 OS .
The new Honor features a powerful 1,900 mAh battery, which delivers up to 9 hours of talk time, 6 hours of gaming and ten hours of video. This means that the user of the smartphone can have up to three days of talk time on an average.
More features of the Honor include a 4-inch scratch-resistant Gorilla glass along with FWVGA display with 245 pixels per inch, which is the highest in its category. In terms of contract in its class, the Honor can break any records and has a sleek and premium design with a textured scratch proof back. The Honor has been priced at Rs. 19,990.
Huawei has also launched the upgraded version of the IDEOS X5 ith Cloud features. Some of the interesting features of the new Ideos X5 includes a faster processor, FM radio, 16 GB Cloud space and it has been priced at Rs. 13,800.
