Popular smartphone manufacturing giant Research In Motion on April 19, 2012 opened its first BlackBerry Premium Store in Delhi, India. The new Premium store is located at M6 Connaught Place in New Delhi.

It is the first store for the Canada based phone maker and will feature the entire BlackBerry product portfolio. RIM in a statement said, “Serving as a gateway into the world of BlackBerry, The BlackBerry Premium Store will offer holistic consumer experience on BlackBerry consumer and enterprise services to its consumers”.

The store will help the customers to have an opportunity to discover the BlackBerry experience within special zones. The zones will feature consumer and enterprise applications along with the product service.

There will also be a demo zone to highlight the performance of the BlackBerry smartphones. The statement added that a team in the store will deliver information as well as advice to the customers. The best part is that the store will be open seven days a week. RIM even plans to open similar stores in the key metro cities in the country in a phased manner. The company is coming up with new handsets for the competitive Indian market .
